Paul is a service-oriented leader in the property management industry, driven by a passion for excellence and education. With a Master’s Degree in Management from Austin Peay State University, Paul brings a solid academic background to his multifaceted career.

With extensive experience in real estate brokerage and property management, Paul holds key roles as a Principal Broker and member of the ownership team at Realty Executives Hometown Living, PMI Greater Dickson, and PMI Greater Nashville. His leadership extends to real estate education, where he serves as a TREC-approved instructor, offering courses in TRECCORE, Code of Ethics, GRI, Contracts 101, Short Term Rental Management, and Property Management.

Paul's commitment to excellence is evident in his numerous certifications, including Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), and Graduate of the REALTOR Institute (GRI), among other designations. He is also an active member of real estate associations such as the Greater Nashville Realtors (GNR), National Association of REALTORS (NAR), Tennessee Association of REALTORS (TAR), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).

As a leader in the property management community, Paul holds positions such as President Elect of the Dickson County Chapter of GNR and a member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Association of Realtors. He also serves on the MLS Advisory Committee at GNR and the Professional Development Committee at NARPM. His dedication to professional development and commitment to industry standards make him a valuable asset to the property management field.

Glen McLain, REALTOR Business & Finance Manager

Glen is a seasoned accountant with over a decade of experience, originally hailing from West Tennessee before settling in Middle Tennessee in 2014. His journey led him to embrace the small-town charm of Dickson upon his relocation in 2020. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, Glen's academic knowledge complements his practical expertise.

In his previous corporate role, Glen served as the Accounting Manager for a healthcare management company, where he collaborated closely with the CFO to shape accounting policy, implement new standards, and oversee a team of accounting professionals. Transitioning into the realm of property management, Glen now serves as the Business & Finance Manager for PMI Greater Dickson and PMI Greater Nashville.

Within this capacity, Glen shoulders a diverse array of responsibilities, ensuring the financial integrity of property management operations. From bookkeeping and journal entries to reconciling accounts and managing financial statements, Glen's meticulous approach guarantees accuracy and compliance. His duties extend to assisting property managers with financial queries, approving credit checks, and overseeing the intricacies of security deposit refunds.

Furthermore, Glen is adept at navigating the complexities of expense management, from legal and maintenance costs to utility and security expenses. Additionally, some of Glen's roles involve payroll management, demonstrating his versatility and comprehensive skill set in financial administration.

Trevor BehrensAssistant Property Manager

Trevor is a seasoned professional in property management, bringing extensive experience and a strong background in communications to his new role as Assistant Property Manager at PMI Greater Nashville. Holding a Bachelor Degree in Communications Studies, with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising, from Eastern Illinois University, Trevor is well-equipped to effectively communicate and engage with both tenants and property owners. 

In his previous positions, including Assistant Community Manager and Leasing Associate at a number of large multifamily apartment communities in Nashville, Trevor demonstrated his proficiency in overseeing property operations and providing exceptional customer service. From managing property maintenance, collections, daily operations, and social media platforms to conducting guided tours and handling leasing documents, Trevor has consistently excelled in every aspect of his work. 

With his attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and dedication to delivering top-notch customer service, Trevor is excited to lead PMI Greater Nashville to new heights of success. His ability to navigate complex challenges and foster positive relationships with tenants, owners, and team members alike makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

When he is not at work, Trevor enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, who all share his love of travel. We are thrilled to welcome Trevor to our team and look forward to the expertise and leadership he brings to our organization.

Shelly AshworthAssistant Property Manager

With over 15 years of experience in property management, Shelly assumes a pivotal role as Assistant Property Manager at PMI Greater Dickson, significantly enhancing our capacity to oversee property maintenance, turnovers, inspections, and related operations. Shelly's educational background includes a foundation in Business Systems Technology from Tennessee Technology Center in Dickson, TN, equipping her with the skills necessary to effectively manage our rental portfolio.

Prior to her tenure at PMI Greater Dickson, Shelly held notable positions such as Property Manager for a 72-unit multifamily property and as District Manager overseeing multifamily apartment complexes. In these roles, she demonstrated proficiency in operational efficiency and adeptly managed multiple properties with precision. Shelly's ability to handle inspection reports from Rural Development agencies and facilitate invoice approval processes highlights her strong problem-solving skills.

Throughout her career, Shelly has consistently exhibited resilience and adaptability, qualities that complement her extensive experience and commitment to excellence. Her contributions play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering exceptional tenant satisfaction at PMI Greater Dickson.

When she is not at work, Shelly enjoys spending time with her husband at the creek or riding back roads in the Jeep. We are thrilled to have Shelly on our team, and we look forward to the level of detail to tenant relations that she brings to our organization.

Alejo is our dedicated and goal-oriented Leasing Assistant at PMI Greater Nashville. With a strong background in customer service and a commitment to professional growth, Alejo supports our management team, assists tenants and owners, and contributes to our ongoing success. Alejo's training in RentVine, Process Street, and QuickBooks equips him with the skills necessary to thrive in the property management business.

His detail-oriented and client-centric approach ensures tasks are managed with precision and efficiency, while his proven ability to handle high call volumes and provide personalized solutions underscores his adaptability and commitment to industry best practices.

Jey Ann Basa Short-Term Rental Coordinator and Bookkeeper

Jey Ann is a versatile and accomplished professional who brings a wealth of experience and skills to her role as Assistant Short-Term Rental Property Manager and Bookkeeper. With a background as a Short-Term Rental Property Assistant, Jey Ann has demonstrated a keen aptitude for the nuances of the short-term rental industry.

In her position, she will update property photos and captions on platforms such as Booking Automation and Airbnb, ensuring that properties are presented in the most appealing and accurate way to potential guests. As a co-host for property managers on various OTA's platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, and Expedia, she helps optimize the property's presence and performance across all booking channels.

Jey Ann also exhibits proficiency in lead generation and email marketing, using CRM tools to nurture leads and convert them into bookings. Her bookkeeping expertise, utilizing QuickBooks, plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the property management operation. In her free time, Jey Ann loves making arts and crafts and is passionate about stage design for special events.
